Where sustainability, responsibility and success co-exist

Pranav comes from a generation where ‘Waste not, want not’ was still the widespread ethos. Where overconsumption had not yet taken root; where mindless luxury was still not the norm. His army upbringing further fostered an appreciation for functionality and utility over frills and showiness. Raised by physician parents, Pranav hopes to realise, if not wholly and in full measure, then at least very substantially, the promise held by the twin ideals of medicine: “may all be free from disease” and “first do no harm”. 

At the same time, he is a product of the generation that saw climate anxiety play out all within a lifetime. Pranav vividly remembers a time when climate change warnings first started becoming mainstream. He has seen the debate and the politics around the topic unfold over the past three decades. He recalls how climate issues were ignored as a problem for the distant future. Today, he sees the impact of those decisions, first hand.

As someone driven by a deep desire to leave the world a better place for the next generation, he has three major missions. 

1. That climate risk mitigation always be prioritised over business or political interests.
2. That ESG risks and impacts be assessed and addressed using a global, eco-centric perspective – working for the good of the planet and its diverse inhabitants.
3. That all workers worldwide get a chance to earn fair remuneration through safe, dignified work that does not pose undue risks to their health, safety or overall wellbeing, without any form of exploitation or unfairness.   

This passion prompted him to specialise in the field of ESG – gaining knowledge, developing  hands-on expertise, creating change on the ground, and engaging in thought leadership and knowledge sharing. 

Today, Pranav brings over 20 years of experience in sustainability, ESG & EHS consulting. His work has encompassed 1500+ assignments across 17 countries spanning Asia, Middle East & Africa, Europe, and North America.
